Level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Shipping

The S2W Level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Shipping consists of Eight mandatory units. Students must complete all eight mandatory units and achieve a minimum of a Pass in  in order to be awarded the qualification.

  • International Business Economics and Markets
  • Fundamentals of Logistics
  • Introduction to shipping
  • Customs procedures
  • Warehousing and Inventory Management
  • Stevedoring/ Freight Forwarding and Port operations
  • Transportation and distribution Management
  • Liner trade

Students who complete this Level are awarded dual certificates: one from the Indian Institute of Logistics, and one from the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training. 

Students who successfully complete the level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Shipping will be eligible to enrol into the Top-up degree program, which is the equivalence of a bachelor’s degree  in Logistics, Supply chain and Transport  issued by Rome Business School. This program is a 3-month classroom program and a 60 or 90 day internship in Dubai or India respectively.

The Total Qualification Time (TQT) for each of the S2W Level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Shipping is 240 hours and 16 credits.
