If you want to build a successful business, believe in yourself- Tarkang Rachel

It would not be wrong to consider the recent years as the period of Entrepreneurship discovery in Cameroon. Young people from all backgrounds are starting entrepreneurial activities in Technology, Agriculture, Services, Food Processing, Fashion design, and many more. Rome Business School Cameroon students and alumni are taking center stage.

This is what Takang Rachael, an alumnus of Rome Business School Cameroon, and a holder of a Master's Degree in Marketing has shared with young Cameroonians:

"One of the most important lessons i learned at RBS Cameroon and which has greatly impacted my life is to believe in myself, be confident, and to take calculated risks. After my graduation from RBS Cameroon, I founded Ray's Snails, a snail processing business. Entrepreneurial skills landed me where I find myself now. Ray's snails had a very little/insignificant beginning. As time went on though, it took a different dimension. I'm now able to make  a living out of it and create economic impact in the society."

Asked about the role that her knowledge of marketing has played in the growth of her business, Rachel says: "Marketing has gone beyond simplyconducting a market research and designing new products.  Marketing today is above all else building and maintaining healthy relationships with clustomers.
